considered by the Committee.
A final slate of candidates, to fill vacancies by the advancement of officers or
the expiration of terms of office held by Directors, will be nominated by the
Nomination Committee at the annual conference.
Article 111, of the OKIAAI Constitution & By Laws, provides that the

and other Board of Directors positions that become open during the Annual
Conference.
4
Incumbent members of the Board of Directors seeking
election must be nominated in accordance with these guidelines.
Each candidate will be contacted by the Committee Chair to ascertain
his/her qualifications and
interest to serve in the office of which he/she has
been selected.
The following items are of primary consideration when reviewing candidates:
Qualifications
Experience
Activity in the OKIAAI
A willingness to actively participate in the government of the OKIAAI
A desire to devote time and effort in pursuing the goals and objectives of
OKIAAI
4
The nomination of candidates will greatly assist the
Executive Board Nomination Committee in presenting a slate of qualified
officers.
Nominee must be a current member of the International Association of
Arson Investigators in order to hold an Executive Board position of the IAAI Oklahoma
Chapter.
